Well, we haven't actually made it on TV yet, but the sentiment stands: new.space is out there on screens big(ish) and small. Some of it is cringe, some of it digs deep into product philosophy, and some of it is just fun. Give it a look and hey, try out the beta and let us know what you think:
Check out the things we’ve written
We wrote a big article on Indie Hackers titled Beyond free: the case for anonymous apps. This article talks about new.space, and goes into our decisions for making an app that works without an account. Give it a read here.
We also have a blog on shareup.app that we post to every once in awhile. The posts there are usually a bit more on the technical side. Here are a few standout ones that I think are worth highlighting:
Julius, our lead designer, wrote a fantastic piece on how he used a font editor to create our icon sets. He goes into how the Glyphs tool is key to pulling this off, and highlights some ways to navigate some quirks with the program. It is a great write-up and worth the read!
Nathan, our CEO, wrote a great post about end-to-end encryption and why it is so important. It looks at data-breaches over the past year and showcases some learnings and info on how new.space works and why privacy is so important to us.
See some short vids
We post our longer form videos often here on the newsletter, but did you know we also post on TikTok? Be sure to follow us to not miss the exciting cringe.
We do the Instagram reels and YouTube shorts thing too, pick your flavor and enjoy! If you make a short video about new.space, use the tag #newspace so we can like and share it!
I'd call this section 'misc'
Sometimes we write short blurbs or share out some things we are working on to Twi-x, and Threads. Follow us on whichever is your favorite for any updates that we publish, and get the latest on things as they happen.
Am I missing anything? Probably. Regardless, thanks for subscribing… right here! This is the main place to keep track of everything new.space related, so if you are reading this and you aren't subscribed you should definitely do that, or to channel my inner YouTuber I'll say "smash that like butto…" - I can't do it. Thanks for reading, have a great week and happy sharing.
